Computer Programmer
Average annual salary: $61,730
Experienced Salary: up to $126,280
          Job Duties:
·      Write programs that tell a computer what to do
·      Spend working hours alone, but often in work teams
·      Stay up-to-date on new programming languages
Job Requirements:
·      Know one or more programming languages
·      Have at least a bachelor’s degree
·      Helpful to take classes like Calculus and Trigonometry (or advanced Algebra) and some sort of computer programming class.
·      Most require at least an associate degree in computer science or computer programming


Computer Technician
          Average annual salary: $33,950
Experienced Salary: up to $61,580
Job Duties:
·      Maintain and Repair Computers
·      Install and test new equipment
·      Replace faulty cards, eradicate viruses, update software, add new drives or memory
Job Requirements:
·      Most have a certificate or associate degree in electronics
·      Helpful classes include Electronics, Geometry or Advanced Algebra, and Engineering Design and Development

Hydrologist
            Average annual salary: $59,010
            Experienced Salary: up to $118,590
            Job Duties:
·      Collect data about the underground water supply
·      Study the permeability of the soil
·      Map areas where water runs off the land
·      Spend time alone doing research
  Job Requirements:
·      Most have at least a Master’s Degree or higher
·      Helpful classes include Calculus, Geology, Geometry, Physics, Statistics and Probability, and Trig/Advanced Algebra
·      If you wish to work at the University level, a doctorate is needed
