Color Wheel

These are my color wheels that show quadratic, analogous, split complementary, and complementary colors. These can be helpful when designing posters, clothing, or painting. They are useful in everyday life and help find colors that go well together quickly and easily.

Principles and Elements of Design

These are my examples of the principles and elements of design. 1) Texture 2) Line/Rhythm and Movement 3) Line/Variety and Emphasis 4) Shape/Organic 5) Shape/Geometric 6)Shape/Pattern 7) Shape /Overlapping 8) Perspective 9) Value/Tone 10) Contrast

I originally drew these pictures on paper and I will post those when I can get to a scanner.

Juxtaposition Collage

This is my Juxtaposition Collage of somewhat oversized people skating in Paris off the Eiffel Tower. Some boys came by after school to watch as well, their mothers will be so worried when they see this picture....

This was a really fun one to get creative and it was quite easy. And after finishing this and just looking it over, I noticed that I somehow chopped off the back of the leg of the skater on the bottom... Pretend it's sports tape. I'm not sure how I could fix it. Overall, I'm happy with this one.

Painted Woman

This was purely just for fun. I was messing with the paint brush tool and this fine lady came out of it...

Place and Trace

This is the original picture that I got from google images while searching "tron bike"
So I traced it and I'm very happy with the results. It got easier as I got further. And I'm happy about how my curvature lines turned out. They weren't so defined, so I thought I'd add extra lines to show the curve of the wheels. This one didn't have too many problems.

Basic and Complicated shapes

For this assignment, the original pictures to imitate were the black ones, and that white key shape. I colored mine various colors and overall I think it did a good job. My favorite is the bunny. There are a few weird spots like on the heart, or the clover. This one was fun as well. I had a tough time at  first figuring out how to make the brush bigger, but I got it eventually and it was fun from then on.

Box to Car

A version of a santa cruz school bus that should be real. I couldn't exactly figure out how to makes the spokes of the wheel and how to make them repeat, so I drew them on instead. Also it was difficult getting the windows to finally be blue, but I eventually got it. I couldn't color the blast quite correctly in the back of the bus, so just picture that it's white hot with power...

Bitmap icons

  space adventure

  billy bob

This was a fun first project, I made two icons because the first one, Billy Bob, wasn't very colorful. I like the space adventure better. I spent more time on the space adventure.
